Powering Change is our largest and most visible annual gathering, with 200 guests coming together to support Queer Power Alliance’s mission. Your participation will help us fund crucial economic, housing, and gender justice advocacy, education, and organizing efforts that uplift LGBTQIA+ individuals in Seattle, King County, and throughout Washington State.

Are you looking for Housing Resources? Connection to community? We have both at our LGBTQIA+ Housing Resource Fair. Hosted by Queer Power Alliance and Seattle/King County Coalition on Homelessness. There will be over 20 organizations that provide resources about housing, renters' rights, tenant questions, and more. Snack food provided.

🚨 Initiative Measure 2081, also known as the "Parent's Bill of Rights" “ passed here in Washington and will become law on June 6. So what is I-2081 and how did this happen? Building Tenant Power Workshop
This is a special Building Tenant Power Workshop, co-hosted by Be:Seattle and Queer Power Alliance! Join us to learn about your rights and how to advocate for them as a renter in Seattle. Issues covered include when your landlord is required to notify you of a rent increase, what to do if your landlord isn’t making repairs, who qualifies for Economic Displacement Relocation Assistance, and more. We'll also share ways to get involved with renter organizing and advocacy!
**Note*** Be:Seattle's Building Tenant Power workshops are generally held at 6:00 PM on the fourth Wednesday of every month; however, due to the holiday schedule, overlapping events, and collaborating with Queer Power Alliance, this month's workshop will be held on THURSDAY November 16th.

Leadership Training
At our Leadership Training, we're gathering folks who are either experienced worker leaders, or budding champions of worker organizing! Over the course of two evenings (each session lasting 2-3 hours), we'll equip you with the knowledge and tools to take your leadership to the next level.
Come learn from the experts! We've invited a labor rights lawyer and a seasoned labor organizer to help you better understand your legal rights as a worker, as well as the laws that protect your efforts in organizing your coworkers.
