Queer Power Alliance envisions a world where LGBTQIA+ communities thrive with dignity, respect, and equality.
Our Mission
We build collective power for LGBTQIA+ liberation by dismantling systemic oppression. We advocate, educate, and organize to achieve economic, housing, racial, and gender justice so that all can thrive.
What We Believe
LGBTQIA+ individuals deserve equity. This includes stable housing, livable wages, access to healthcare, political representation, and safety.
Liberation is collective. Building alliances with immigrants, women, People of Color, youth, seniors, people with disabilities, and working-class individuals is essential for justice.
Why This Matters
LGBTQIA+ communities continue to face deep disparities in health, housing, education, and income, disproportionately impacting their well-being. Despite these challenges, LGBTQIA+ voices remain underrepresented in positions of power, limiting their ability to influence policies that affect their lives.
At Queer Power Alliance, we work to bridge this gap by empowering our communities, advocating for change, and ensuring a future where all LGBTQIA+ people can thrive.
Our Impact
Queer Power Alliance works to address the systemic disparities LGBTQIA+ communities face across housing, health, education, and economic opportunity by building collective power through advocacy, data, and grassroots organizing. Centering those most impacted, particularly BIPOC, low-income, and marginalized community members, we develop leadership, advance policy solutions, and create pathways for meaningful civic engagement, so LGBTQIA+ voices are not only heard but actively shape the decisions that impact their lives.
